Astrology is not just the contemplation of our own innate personalities and circumstances.  It is the awareness that there is a kinetic universe that encompasses and interacts with us.  Through the study of our astrological chart, we can decipher the messages and patterns that were imprinted on us the moment we were born.  These messages always being altered, enhanced, or restricted by the current planetary cycles that surround us.  An understanding of our own astrological chart fosters compassion and a realization that everything that is born (whether a human, business, country or question) has its own chart, which can be very different from our own.  And while the current planetary cycles are acting favorably for us, our next door neighbor might not be so lucky.   Through the study of astrology we can gain deeper insights into ourselves, our loved ones, and the world in which we live.
